Crisis Unlock

What it is

HAVEN unlocks Pro for free in regions facing declared emergencies or armed conflict.

Who qualifies

A region is added to the Crisis Unlock list when it meets at least one of these:

• It appears on the IRC Emergency Watchlist.
• It has a GDACS red alert.
• A national emergency has been declared there.

What's free

When unlocked, eligible users receive Pro-tier offline features for the unlock period. Live Watch feeds still need a connection when available.

How it works

• When a region is on our Crisis Unlock list, eligible users there get Pro features at no charge.
• The app checks the list when you are online, then keeps a copy so it still works offline.
• Unlock ends when the list is updated and your device can sync that update.

FAQ

Do I need to do anything?

No. If you are in an eligible region, install HAVEN and open it online once. The app checks the Crisis Unlock list and unlocks Pro automatically.

Does it work offline?

Yes. After one successful online check, your device remembers the result and keeps Pro unlocked offline. Live Watch feeds still need a connection.

When does it end?

When we update the list and your device syncs that update. If you are offline, your unlock stays in place until your next successful sync.
