Yes. Every core feature in HAVEN works 100% offline. The AI assistant runs on-device, maps are downloaded ahead of time, books are stored locally, and family communication uses Bluetooth mesh. Optional HAVEN Watch (now live) is the only major feature that needs internet. It is a separate subscription for real-time feeds and alerts.

HAVEN is available for iOS (15.0+) and Android (8.0+). It works on iPhones, iPads, and Android phones and tablets.

HAVEN is available worldwide on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The app content is currently in English, with more languages planned.

No. You can use HAVEN without any account. Sign-in (Google or Apple) is only required at the moment of purchase. Free users give zero personal information to HAVEN.

No. Free users provide zero personal data. All information (supplies, plans, settings) is stored locally on your device. We don't use analytics, tracking, or telemetry.

No. The AI assistant runs entirely on your device using a local language model. Your questions never leave your phone. No queries are transmitted anywhere.

No. HAVEN does not track your GPS location. For Watch subscribers, you set a region preference manually to receive relevant alerts, we never access your live location.

Yes. The free tier has usage limits (15 AI messages/day, 2 scenarios, etc.) but never expires. All sacred texts are unlimited and free on every tier.

After onboarding, you can optionally start a 7-day trial with full Pro access. No credit card, no account required. After 7 days, purchase Pro or continue with Free.

Yes. Pro ($24.99) is a single lifetime purchase. No subscription, no renewals, no hidden fees. You get permanent access to all Pro features.

Pro Family ($34.99 one-time) lets one purchaser invite up to 4 family members by email. All members get full Pro access, about $7/person compared to individual Pro at $24.99.

Watch provides real-time, server-driven data (geopolitical threat monitoring, disaster alerts, news digests). These have ongoing server and API costs. Watch is optional and separate from core features.

HAVEN Watch is $2.99 per month or $19.99 per year (about 44% savings vs monthly). It requires an active Pro license. You can subscribe in the app or on the web purchase page after signing in.

Environment scan (Pro) uses your camera and on-device AI to analyze a photo of your surroundings for survival-relevant details: terrain type, hazards, shelter and water opportunities, and next steps. Your image is processed locally with your offline model, not uploaded to our servers.

Refunds are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store according to their respective policies. Contact the store where you made your purchase.

HAVEN uses on-device large language models (like Llama 3.2 or Qwen 2.5) that run directly on your phone. You download the model once (~0.8-2 GB), and it works without internet forever after.

HAVEN uses Bluetooth Low Energy to create device-to-device communication. Family members within Bluetooth range (~100m) can send messages without any cell service or internet. The Community Mesh feature extends range through relay networking.

Yes, Pro users can import custom GGUF-format language models. This lets you use specialized or larger models based on your device capabilities.
